The mansion is one of Scotland's most hospitable houses. The immaculate standards of housekeeping within are matched by the fastidious care shown the gardens. Art and good taste are dominant, from the Bechstein Grand piano in the light and airy Sitting Room to the sumptuous meals served in one of the dining rooms - everywhere colour entertains and delights.
Glasgow is 30 minutes away, as is the west coast with the ferry to Arran and the surrounding countryside offers diversity and options for day trips. Whether on the estate or nearby, your days will be filled with much to do and see.
Introduction
The Mansion House is an ideal venue for all types of private parties and conferences. There is an excellent and devoted full-time staff and whenever possible produce from the estate is used including lamb, beef, game and salmon, fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden. Fresh seafood is also available from the Ayr Market daily.
Michael and his wife Deborah are superb hosts who understand fully the needs of their discerning guests and are only too delighted to either host events or leave guests entirely to themselves and the staff.
Any Corporate Event, whether it be a small meeting group of 4 to 6 people or a larger conference or specialist event, requires inspiration, facilities and an excellent location. Carnell can offer all these being so close to Glasgow Airport and having a wonderful capacity for providing good food and accommodation as well as 'break out' rooms and all the necessary paraphanalia that goes with such occasions.
