Aspen River Lodge

The Coldstream Trout Lodge is an exclusive private home, not a commercial property. It is only available to rent occasionally when the owner or their guests are not in residence. Please note that the home is not available to rent for the purposes of Special Events.

Tucked away in the Aspen trees amidst the Roaring Fork River lies a unique private home known as the Coldstream Trout Lodge. Aspens finest private log home retreat. This spectacular residence is one of a kind in the Aspen area.

Relax in this 8,000 sq. ft. log home offering six gracious guest rooms, and a soaring 1600 sq. ft. great room where you'll find the warm glow of an impressively sized stone fireplace along with a cozy billiard area, a mahogany poker table, and a large screen TV. If work needs to be done, a small office area with fax machine and printer is available. The fully- equipped gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream. With entertaining in mind, the dining table seats fourteen, a intimate breakfast area seats five and an informal bar area seats four.

Outdoor amenities include a spacious Jacuzzi and a one-on-one basketball court, volley ball net on the lawn, horseshoe pit, barbeque gas grill, a coral and stunning walking paths along the river bank. Offered with, full fishing equipment, four bicycles and lots of family board games. But you may simply want to lounge on the covered wood plank porches while soaking in the special ambiance created by the Roaring Fork River and surrounding mountains.

Elegantly decorated the amenities include a spacious living room with large screen TV, DVD and stereo surround sound, gas fireplace, wet bar, separate office and the soothing sounds of the river meandering by. Step outside on to the flag stone patio and explore the romantic boardwalk that winds through picturesque trees to the main Lodge.

Only twenty minutes from downtown Aspen and five minutes from the quaint town of Basalt, a wide variety of activities can be easily arranged to meet your group's social and recreational needs.
