Beaulieu Sur Mer Villa

Situated above Beaulieu with magnificent sea views of St Jean Cap Ferrat and the bay of Villefranche sur Mer this superb Belle Epoque villa with enchanting gardens and spacious terraces has seven bedrooms on four levels. The entire house has kept it’s original hand painted ceilings and all rooms have been stylishly furnished and decorated with an array of antique furniture and art.

Upon entering is a cozy office/library with fax and separate cloakroom. The living/dining room is bright and spacious with marble fireplaces, UK satellite television, DVD and CD player and offers comfortable seating for both relaxing and entertaining. This opens onto the top terrace which is furnished with wicker chairs and teak table to enjoy views overlooking the Mediterranean sea. A fully equipped kitchen opens onto to the side of the garden and leads to the spacious terrace where there is a four column part covered stone dining table and benches. To the other side of the terrace is an oleander tree under which are two rocking chairs and a small table.

Interior steps lead from the kitchen down to the lower floor where there is a separate cloakroom, fully equipped laundry room and a cosy double bedroom, ideal for staff or a teenager, with an arched window offering sea views and en suite bathroom with bath.

A curving staircase with a beautiful fresco leads to the first floor where there are three bedrooms; a double bedroom with marble fireplace and a porcelain wash basin and a twin bedroom opening onto a small balcony overlooking the Port of Beaulieu with two wrought iron four poster beds and small desk. Both share a bathroom with bath tub. The Master bedroom draped in blue has a small balcony with sea views and dressing room with en suite bathroom with bath tub.

On the second floor are a further three attic bedrooms; a cosy twin bedroom with a small glass table and chair and a four poster double bed draped with blue chintz together with a large armchair and both share a bathroom with bath tub. The third bedroom has a double bed with fireplace and a gilt-edged mirror together with beautiful sea views and en suite bathroom with bath tub.

The gardens are on three levels; the top level is a long, lawned orchard and stone steps lead down to the second level where there is a 15 x 5 metre saline swimming pool lined with marble columns offering magnificent sea views. At the shallow end there are marble steps and ledges to relax. Both ends have sun bathing terraces and include teak sun loungers, barbeque, summer kitchen with marble work top and separate changing area with shower and outside cloakroom. The lower garden is a lawned area with a fountain. Here is a separate apartment where the guardian couple live.

The villa is just 10-minutes drive down to the beaches, shops and restaurants and of course the port of Beaulieu.
