Close to all. Surf, swim, only 10 minutes to Del Mar, Carlbad, Solana Beach or Legoland, 30 minutes to Petco Park, Qualcomm Stadium, downtown, Seaworld, and the World famous San Diego Zoo. 40 minutes to the Wild Animal Park. Disneyland only about 75 minutes north by freeway.
Amenities: Huge fireplace in Living room, Cable TV, DVD, VCR, telephone-(includes 100 minutes national domestic long distance per week), wireless (& dsl) high speed internet access-(bring your own computer). Huge master suite with a king size bed, has a fabulous ocean view, (as does the living room and dining area), and a huge walk-in closet. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. This house is a tremendous value for your money! So much nicer than a hotel or condo and includes all amenities! All the family can stay together, yet lots of privacy. Activities: Surf & Swim, at the beach, Sunbathe in the privacy of your own patio deck, or on the beach. Watch the dolphins play in the surf or the pelicans skimming the water and diving for fish. Rollerblade on the one-way street, skateboard in the local skateboard park, walk or jog the neighborhood! Walk to local restaurants and boutiques. Shopping is a must! Only 10 minutes to Cedros Design District, the Carlsbad Company Stores, or one mile to the absolutely wonderful downtown of Encinitas.
Plenty of golf courses and sports facilities within close proximity and a variety of restaurants within walking distance. Legoland is only 10 minutes and San Diego attractions are an easy drive, most within 20-30 minutes. Del Mar is only 10 minutes. Disneyland is only a little over an hour away, the Wild Animal Park is about 40 minutes. You can take surfing lessons during the summer right on the beach here! Contact me for details.
Area: Beautiful quiet residential neighborhood, located on a one-way street. The house is oceanfront and has plenty of privacy. Very secure, with a locked gate entrance, remote controlled garage for easy unloading and direct access to the house. The beach access is a gentle winding path, only steps from the house, (not steep stairs) as the other local beaches have.
The house is all one level and accessible by wheel chair. The showers and bath have safety grab bars.
