Casale Umbria is an elegant country house 200 years old made of black “basaltine” stone designated for people who are looking for high quality services and accommodation. This old house is only 1,7 km . from the sweet stone village of Torre San Severo where you can find a bar and a grocery store, and 12 km from Orvieto, it is immersed in the land of Etruscan civilization, and lies centrally between Rome, Florence, Siena and Assisi. The strategic position of the villa, in the heart of Italy, on the Border of Umbria and Tuscany permits you to visit the major art cities of Italy. This refined villa is organized to ensure maximum comfort and a warm welcome to its guests. The materials used are of the highest quality and include the work of local artisans. These are found consistently throughout the house and include floors of hand made clay, a clay tiled ceiling, wooden windows, and exposed wooden beams. The bathrooms are simple yet tasteful, tiled with antique marble and have marble sinks dating from the 18 th century.
PARK: The park surrounds the house, both front and rear. In front of the house there is a well kept lawn with the views of the rolling hillside, at the rear is in law with a circle form reachable from the big porch.
SWIMMING POOL: The swimming pool is at about 30 meters from the house, in a very private area. The swimming pool is rectangular and measure 7 x 14 m . The depth is variable from 1,20 m . to 2,00 m . and is open from May 3 rd until October 18 th . The pool area is furnished with gazebo, sun chairs, sun umbrella, table, chairs and external shower.
INTERIORS: The house is divided on two floors, and organized that the sleeping area is on one side, and the recreation areas is on the other side of the house. A positive aspect to the house is that even if you are a group of 10-13 you have many areas where you can enjoy each others company playing games or chatting, but at the same time you can always find a place where you can have your private corner to write a letter or read a book. On the left hand side of the entrance you enter the living room with fireplace. On the left of the fireplace, a door leads to a corridor that ends in the living/dining room. On the right hand side of the corridor there is a smaller living room with direct access to the porch and a bathroom with shower, while on the left you will find the fully equipped kitchen with external access. From the living/dining room a staircase leads up to a mezzanine furnished with sofas and finished with windows that overlook the countryside. On the right of the fireplace a second corridor leads to a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and to a living room with single sofa bed. From the same corridor a staircase leads down to the play room and the laundry. In front of the main entrance a staircase leads up to the sleeping area. On the right hand side there are 2 double bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms with shower, while on the left hand side you find another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and tub. On the same floor, but with access from an external staircase, there is the access to a living room with double sofa bed, the 5 th double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and tub, and to another bathroom with shower.
SERVICES INCLUDED: Electricity, water, gas for cooking, weekly linen, initial and final cleaning, cleaning twice a week for two hours, park and pool maintenance.
