This villa is situated in the charming Tuscan countryside. It’s an ancient country house, made of local antique bricks, measuring approximately 300 sqm and still preserving it’s antique name. Thanks to the succesfull restauration and the choice of materials for the internal finishings, such as terracotta and wooden beams, the house has been given a new life. The villa is inserted in one of the most beautiful areas surrounding Cortona, there were the plain of the Chiana makes place for the delicate land of wine, giving rise to one of the most classical Tuscan landscapes. The recovery of the structures has allowed to bring back to life the different parts of the house by transforming the antique, rural spaces into comfortable environments, rich in allure, where you can absolutely spend special vacations. At sunset, the house aquires a magical light thanks to the rosy colour of the antique bricks and the beautiful surrounding nature. The furniture consisting of antiques, beautiful colourful finishings, art pieces and objects, as well as it’s position close to the Tuscan art cities, make this villa the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday and discover the beautiful landscapes, which made this part of Tuscany so famous.
PARK: The villa has fields of approximately 2 hectares; the area maintained as a garden of about 2.000 sq. m. Please note that the property is not fenced.
SWIMMING POOL: open from April 28th untill October 6th. The swimming pool measures 5 x 10 m., with a maximum depth of 3 m, it’s perfectly exposed, surrounded by a well kept lawn and provided with quality furniture.
INTERIORS: the ground floor has direct access from the garden through large glass doors and is provided with big and bright room where we can find, a double four-poster bed made of steal, living room with a kitchenette and sofas, and bathroom with shower. First floor: this floor is directly accessible from the garden, as well as from the ground floor. The main kitchen is obtained in the antique stables which still preserve the undulating ceilings. Here you will find the charming porch were you can spend pleasant summer evenings around the large table, with a nice view on the swimming pool and on the surrounding country side. In the kitchen itself you will find another big table, which is capable of hosting 10 persons. The furnishing is rendered even more attractive due to the numerous colorful ceramics. Through a distinctive door, you will enter a little reading area with particular armchairs, from were you can see the large living room with characteristic arches. Here it is possible to relax on the comfortable sofas, which are placed in front of a big fireplace, or spend festive moments around the large, original dinner table. The living area is provided with a separate toilet and a laundry area which has been obtained under the staircase. The romantic double bedroom with a four-poster bed, is provided with an internal bathroom with shower. This room is accessible through the living room by means of a luminous glass door (with curtains) and has direct access to the garden. Second floor: Either by taking the internal wooden staircase, or through the external characteristic loggia you can enter the living room which is provided with comfortable sofas and a TV area. From this area you have access to the sleeping area which consists of two double bedrooms with a private bathroom and a twin bedroom with an internal bathroom with bathtub.
ANNEX: is divided from the villa by an hedge, it can host up to four people and is composed by a double bedroom, one bathroom with shower, a living room with kitchenette two single beds.
