Mantua Villa

This beautiful Villa is located in the center of Sermide. Sermide is located on the extreme eastern edge of Mantova’s province on the banks of the Po river, Italy’s longest river, on the meeting area of three beautiful Italian regions: Lombardia, Veneto and Emilia.


The Villa was originally built in the eighteenth century and restructured and enlarged at the end of the nineteenth century. Thanks to a further recent restoration and to a tasteful interior decoration, country houses as Villa Castellani have regained their charm of one hundred years ago.


An entrance hall, two living-rooms, a dining-room, a kitchen and six bedrooms are at guests’ disposal. Moreover guests can enjoy the Villa’s magnificent 2 acres park with a variety of ancient botanic species and trees along with a swimming-pool.


Thanks to its geographic position, Villa Castellani is the ideal location to visit the most known cities of the Po plain: Mantova, Verona, Vicenza, Padova, Ferrara, Bologna (only one-hour drive away) Venezia, Parma and Ravenna (within one hour and a half drive). The above mentioned cities represent Italy’s cultural centers and are synonyms of unique art, genuine and delicate food, well-known wines, history, architecture along with world-wide known successes as Ferrari and Ducati.
