The ultimate Mountain Hideaway! This gorgeous log residence is accessed in the winter by snowcat from the Sundeck on the backside of Aspen Mountain and it is 3,461 sq. feet of well-planned space. It features two master suites and two guest bedrooms, all beautifully appointed in Ralph Lauren style. The master bedroom has a granite fireplace, bath with marble vanities and shower and two walk-in closets. The guest master bedroom features a bath with marble vanities, shower and soaking tub. On the second level, is a seating room with built in bunk beds.

The living room has vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Castle Creek Valley’s dramatic peaks and valleys and rocky mountain pine forest. You can see the Highlands Bowl, Five Fingers, Conundrum Valley and Mount Hayden, Little Annie Basin and Hurricane Gully. The kitchen countertops are made of Carrera marble and there is a gas cook top, under counter oven, microwave, 2 Sub Zero refrigerators, pantry room and butcher block cutting board.

Excellent skiers can ski down the backside from Aspen’s famous Sundeck and utilize the snowpacked jeep road. There is a full time onsite property manager who will provide 2 snowcat trips to the sundeck per day (drop off morning and pickup afternoon) as part of the rental package.

In the summer months, renters can drive from Aspen 12 minutes on Castle Creek Road then 15 minutes up Little Annie road through the old mining claim areas. Available for 2 months rental in the summer, enjoy the smell of the pine trees, miles of mountainside to hike or bike, see the soaring hawks and eagles, and relax in the undisturbed quiet at night. Small Creatures abound including foxes, chipmunks, squirrels, raccoons.

There is a Solar Collection system that charges 120 deep cell batteries and an electrical inverter converts this solar energy to electrical power for the main house and caretaker house.
There is a propane generator as backup for the electrical system and a two line cellular phone system as well as High Speed Internet.
