Very few homes match the splendor of Kincardine and even less afford their guests the opportunity to sample the ambiance of country house society living. Every room in this wonderful house is decorated in period style and furnished with antiques representing 300 years of family history. Visitors can breakfast in the small Dining Room, and relax in the opulence of the Drawing Room. The musically inclined can sing, dance or play in the grandeur of the Great Hall, while others may prefer to retreat to the homely comfort of a log fire with a book from the Library.

Kincardine sleeps 20 and caters for up to 400. The Great Hall can seat up to 80 theatre-style. There is serviced marquee on the lawn and an experienced in-house staff. It is a 45-minute drive from Aberdeen and has plenty off space for helicopter landings.


Kincardine is surrounded by scenic countryside great for walks on the edge of the Royal Deeside. There is top quality sporting and good access for lorries and tradesmen. After a day of sporting you may return to the relaxed atmosphere of the home complete with an excellent cellar and delicious food. If needed you have access to telephones, fax and presentation aids.

Kincardine is well placed to provide its guests with a huge array of activities, both sporting and cultural. Some of the nearby activities include lovely country walks, visits to the many Castles in Royal Deeside, musical evenings in the house, cycling and horse back riding, great golfing, tours of old whisky distilleries, game bird shooting, deer stalking and salmon fishing. Tour can also be arranged to places such as National Nature Reserves at Glen Muick, Glen Tanar, Dinnet and the Cairngorms, McEwan and Aberdeen Art Galleries, the world famous gardens at Crathes, Pitmedden and Edzell Castle and local antiquities can be found burial mounds, stone circles, underground chambers and hill top forts.
