A great location for small, upscale house parties. Incredibly comfortable with every modern convenience and well located for both Edinburgh and Glasgow. It is close to the town of Blairgowrie in Perthshire and after a loving restoration it now offers 21st century luxury in an old and historic setting. This property is in immaculate condition and has facilities rarely seen in Scottish homes.

All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and power showers. There is a superb sound system throughout the house, along with satellite tv, dvd, internet connection and all modern conveniences, like proper US style bathrooms, underfloor heating and fantastic heating system. The external facilities make this home somewhat unique and you literally walk out of the front door onto your own golf course.

Activities

The castle has a whole variety of activities available both in-house and within the surrounding area and is extremely well located, being pretty much in the centre of Scotland! There is a private Golf course - 2,728-yard par 3 -course record held by Ben Crenshaw. There are also 45 golf courses within a 30 mile radius, including St Andrews, Gleneagles & Carnoustie. Fishing on the River Tay can be arranged exclusively for you. Shooting and Riding in the area is excellent. There are two tennis courts, 1 turf tennis court and blaze tennis court. The croquet lawn is located on the grounds near the heated swimming pool. To keep up your fitness program, the castle has a private gym, sauna, steam shower and snooker.

There are a lot of places to visit in the surrounding areas, including Scone Palace, Balmoral ( Scottish home of the Queen) and Glamis Castle ( Birthplace of the Queen Mother). Glenshee - up in the chair lift to see the views. Pitlochry - shopping for cashmere & woollens. Dunkeld - Cathedral town. Braemar - famous for the highland games.
