Tobago is the ideal site for a villa that promises to soothe the weary soul. The island lies at the southern tip of the Caribbean, not far from Venezuela. It is small and mountainous and amazingly free of the usual trappings of tourism. No cruise ships, no drinks garnished with umbrellas ... just lush rainforests, magnificent bay views and birds and ... more birds.

Tobago was created to be the backdrop for Being. This enchanting villa is tucked into the side of a hill on a five acre organic fruit farm with breathtaking 180 degree views of the Caribbean Sea.
The villa combines elements of the traditional Caribbean plantation home with modern architectural features. It is actually a collection of small structures, or pavilions. Being unashamedly takes advantage of the climate, the beautiful views and the seclusion offered by its hillside perch.

At a glance, the living area of Villa Being opens onto a terrace overlooking the pool and features a HiFi system, CDs and books. The kitchen and pantry pavilions contain a built-in dishwasher, fridge and oven that form the informal heart of the home and overlook the pool. There are three separate dining areas: covered, uncovered and open. Each option accommodates the time of day and your state of mind. The bar and barbecue is an enclosed sitting area created for entertaining one, two or many!

The bedrooms in the villa are labeled as follows: The Romance Room is the master bedroom with a 4-poster king-size bed and loft with access to a private pool terrace. The Blue Room is an air-conditioned room with twin beds (which can be reconfigured to a king-size bed). The Caribbean Room is outfitted with a queen-size bed and a loft with a pull-out single bed and dramatic ocean views.

The Staff includes a housekeeper, cook, laundress and gardener that serve up the organic vegetables grown in the garden and maintain the natural charm of the villa to keep you indulged.

The price of the Villa Being includes accommodation, 10% Accommodation tax, departure tax, airport transfers, continental breakfast (from fresh organic produce of the estate), cook, gardener, stocking the villa with enough food and drink to get you going, seasonal fruits from the estate, snorkeling gear, and facilitation of car or jeep rental.

Tobago is full of activities. If you want us to help you to arrange an outing, just let us know! Some of our outings include bird watching, nature walks to the neighboring villages, star gazing, snorkeling, swimming, paddle ball, goat and crab racing (Easter), fine dining at nearby restaurants, biking, diving, fishing, tennis and golf.
