This magnificent villa is one of the Regal Villas of the old Republic of Lucca. Built in the neo- classical style, the villa and its English style ten acre park date to the early days of 1800. Richly decorated with original Empire furniture and priceless art, and fully staffed, Villa il Lucchesiano can host you like the royalty it once did.

Located 10 km outside the walled city of Lucca with downtown Florence 1 hour away by car or train, half an hour to the sea; this is the ideal location to enjoy and explore the treasures of Tuscany.

This registered historical property has one new addition for your enjoyment: the swimming pool and the pool house.

It is surrounded by the 300 acre farming estate.

In addition to the palatial villa this property includes a private chapel, and the lemon-house complex with the capacity for catered weddings and meetings of more than 200 people. The villa itself can host elegant banquets and balls for 50 people. Please ask about arranging these very special events.

The grandeur of the original Empire style interior decorations is evident in these photographs. The three levels of the villa are connected by a grand staircase and an elevator. The middle floor has the spacious and elegant salon, music room, study with TV, game room, and 1 single bedroom with bathroom. The ground floor has a columned marble entry hall, living room, library, grand piano room, the banquet room to seat 50 people, dining room, the old Tuscan kitchen used as breakfast room, the fully equipped working kitchen with service rooms and 1 bathroom. The villa has total of 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. One single bedroom with an en-suite bathroom is on the middle level.

There is 1 double bedroom and 1 single bedroom with a connecting bathroom. These bedrooms can be used as the master suite and are in the two top photographs on this page. Of the remaining 3 bedrooms 1 is a double bedroom, 1 a twin bedroom which can be converted into a double and 1 single bedroom. These bedrooms share 2 bathrooms on this level.

The villa has central heating, but no air- conditioning. However, the bedrooms have high ceilings and ceiling fans, all windows have screens and louvered shutters. Villa il Lucchesiano is comfortable all through the year.

Full-time staff includes: butler, chef, maid and gardeners.
The chef prepares daily breakfast and dinner, and does the shopping. The cost of food and beverage are not included in the rate and are payable separately.
Heating and telephone usage are not included in the rates and are payable separately.
Swimming pool is open from end of May to end of September. Pool water is not heated.
