This Villa, dating back to the 17th century, was once a bishop’s residence and is surrounded by private gardens with stunning views across the valley of Camiore and the background of the Apuan Alps. This villa is close to the beach resorts of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi.

Lovingly restored over many years and sparing no expense, a truly enchanting home of character and charm with 5 bedrooms all with modern en-suite bath and shower facilities for between 9-10 guests. It is fully heated and air-conditioned and is available for private rental year round.

First Floor: Fully equipped kitchen opening out to an open plan area comprising dining room, drawing room with music system and a lounge centered around a magnificent marble fireplaceA doorway leads out down the stone staircase towards the entrance gate and front gardensThere is a side door leading onto a long sun terrace where breakfast is served each morning and down stairs to the gazebo and swimming pool gardensA half bathroom There is a main internal staircase leading to the second floor as well as a smaller private second staircase leading to an en-suite guestroom.

Second Floor: Master suite with bath/shower and dressing room en-suite with office area equipped with telephone and faxA further twin or double bedroom with its own bathroom and private staircase which can also be adjoining to the master suite.

Staff/Services: Included in the standard weekly rental rate is a housekeeper and a chef who provide general housekeeping duties which include servicing the bedrooms and ground floor reception rooms each day as well as providing meal service as required, 6 days per week. The chef is available for breakfast and either lunch or dinner each day and also provides a grocery shopping service. Please note all food and beverage for meals other than breakfast are at an additional cost and charged direct to the client. A gardener looks after the grounds and swimming pool maintenance. 2005 WEEKLY RENTAL RATE FOR FULLY SERVICED VILLA: €10,000 (October through April) and €13,000 (May through September).

Includes: All utilities except telephone, fax and internet use. Air-conditioning and central heating as required. 2 linen changes per week (further linen changes available at an additional charge per room per day). Soap, shampoo, bath foam, hairdryers and bathrobes in all guestrooms. Pool/beach towels.

All Inclusive Concierge Service:

Chef to prepare all meals, 6 days per week (continental style buffet breakfast, Tuscan buffet lunch and fully serviced 3 course dinner). Additional housekeeping services when required to assist with meal service and general cleaning. Full personal laundry service (excluding items needing special treatment when dry cleaning can be arranged at an additional cost). Arrival and departure transfers from Pisa and Florence airports or train stations. All other airports and pick up/drop off points at an additional charge. All food and house wine. Masseuse at guests disposition 2 mornings for 2.5 hours per week. Tuscan Wine & Cheese tasting.
WEEKLY RENTAL RATE 2005 FOR ALL INCLUSIVE CONCIERGE VILLA: €20,000

The main attraction for this area is Lucca (30 km) and all that surrounds this lovely place of rich history. There are a number of places close to the villa for exploring - Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio are both close by.
· Camaiore 1 km
· Forte dei Marmi 12km (swimming, horses, tennis and shops).
· Lucca 30 km (bicycle the wall around the city, This is a must - be in Lucca at the time of the "passeggiata" 5:00 - 7:00pm. The town strolls leisurely around the city on top of the wall. "Passeggiate" is a delightful Italian custom. All towns and villages have one and allow you to rub elbows with the locals).
· Florence 100 km (Art, Opera, designer shops).
