This Villa is one of the highest quality country villas we offer, located in the heart of Tuscany. This luxury villa is a comfortable family home sleeping up to 14 people with 7 bedrooms and 6 baths, some en-suite. You'll enjoy the beautiful gardens, courtyard with al fresco dining under grapevine pergola, large pool, views, privacy and the peaceful natural setting.

The location in central Siena Province between the historic towns of Montepulciano and Pienza offers easy access to main roads for touring. The villa is 1 mile from the small hilltop town of Monticchiello; there are a few shops, cafe' and 2 good restaurants. This Villa is totally private but not isolated.

This is the most scenic region of Tuscany producing great wines and olive oil, and delicious local cuisine. There are plenty of activities available nearby, including tennis, horseback, riding bicycles, and taking pleasant walks along cypress lined country lanes.

Old growth forests and olive groves surround the property, the property has the 2nd oldest olive tree in Tuscany; its age is estimated to be 900 years. The beautiful views are over Orcia Valley nature park and Mt Amiata.

You can enjoy the sun by the private pool or find peace and quiet at the many shaded outside seating areas.

The skilful restoration of this large property has kept the traditional character and materials, including terra cotta floors and beamed ceilings while adding modern conveniences. The villa is generously furnished with handsome antiques as well as comfortable and classic modern seating, beautiful paintings, sculpture and decorations throughout.

The main house ground level entry is from the courtyard. This ground level has a long dining room with 2 dining tables for 14 people, a seating area and a large writing desk at one end. From the common room opening thru a wide archway in the middle is a living room with an open Tuscan fireplace.

The country kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and well stocked for preparing meals for a large group, with abundant cooking wares, both everyday and elegant dishes, including crystal and silver servicing pieces. The kitchen has a separate entry and a large food pantry.

The first floor is reached by covered outdoor stone stairs arriving at the front loggia. The entry is into the spacious study with a seating group around the fireplace. The bedrooms make up the rest of this floor.

The villa is equipped with satellite TV, VCR, landline telephone, fax, desktop computer and Internet connection.

A separate room for laundry and ironing opens from the courtyard.

Cleaning service is included for about 4 hours per day, each day of the week except on Sundays. The full-time care-taker has independent quarters on the property.

The main building has 1 twin bedroom downstairs, convertible to a double. From this bedroom you can step under the front loggia.

Upstairs are 4 bedrooms from which 3 are double bedrooms and one has 2 single beds. 2 double bedrooms have private bathrooms, the remaining 2 bedrooms share a bath.

The 2 separate buildings across the courtyard have a one double bedroom each, with en-suite bathrooms.

All bedrooms have best quality comfortable mattresses and beautiful bed linens, the deluxe bathrooms have showers, some also a bath tub.

Next to the dining room is a guest powder room toilet.

By the pool is a changing room with a toilet and shower.
