VILLA ESTRELLA is located in the exclusive beachside community of Ocotal in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica overlooking the Gulf of Papagayo and the Pacific Ocean. It is just a few minutes south of the little beach village of Coco andonly a twenty five minute drive from Liberia International Airport. This gorgeous, newly constructed villa is situated on a private hilltop that rises from the beach of Ocotal and offers breathtaking views of the Pacific to the west andvolcanic mountains and jungles to the north, east, and south. VILLA ESTRELLA aptly deserves its name because, in Spanish, “estrella” means “star” and at VILLA ESTRELLA, you will enjoy a truly “Five Star” Costa Rican experience!

ACCOMODATIONS

VILLA ESTRELLA has seven full sized suites that accommodate up to 20 guests. Each suite offers "5-Star" amenities.

OUTSTANDING LOCATION AND BREATHTAKING VIEWS

The views from VILLA ESTRELLA are absolutely breathtaking as can be seen in the pictures at the top of this page. From its premier hilltop position, guests look out westerly over the warm blue waters of the GULF OF PAPAGAYO, MONKEY ROCK AND WITCHES ROCK, CATALINA AND BAT ISLANDS, and the coastal peninsula on which the Four Seasons Resort is located. Look directly down at the BEACH OF OCOTAL and you'll see the fishing and scuba charters pick up their passengers in the early morning and return in the mid-afternoon. To the north, east and south, enjoy the incredible views of volcanic mountains and nearby jungles.

VILLA ESTRELLA is perfectly situated for guests to enjoy swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, and sailing in the pristine waters of the GULF OF PAPAGAYO. Centrally located in the GUANACASTE region, guests can also easily venture out each day in different directions to experience the various pleasures of jungle canopy tours, mud baths, horseback riding, white water river rafting, pristine surfing beaches, and nearby local villages. The VILLAGE OF COCO, for example, is just five minutes away and it boasts a variety of restaurants and local shops. After sunset, Coco's nightlife comes alive with vibrant bars, discos, and even a casino.


CUISINE

Your stay at VILLA ESTRELLA includes three wonderful meals each day prepared by our local Costa Rican chef.
All of your meals will be served outdoors in the shade of the covered patio with overhead fans gently refreshing you. In advance of your trip to Costa Rica, we will review the proposed menu with you with a goal of customizing meal choices to your group's preferences, including special dietary needs. Meals will be served at the time of your choosing.

THE STAFF

VILLA ESTRELLA's outstanding “Five Star” service will start from the moment you begin planning your trip to Costa Rica to the final good-bye at the end of the trip.

VILLA ESTRELLA management will work with you well in advance of your trip to review options and structure your plans. The management will meet you and your party at the Liberia airport and facilitate your twenty five minute drive to the VILLA.

VILLA ESTRELLA management and staff will be available 24 hours a day to facilitate your stay in any way. Daily services include room cleaning; full meal service; computer, and internet services. In addition, infant and handicap support/access can be accommodated.

VILLA ESTRELLA management will coordinate with local guides; have local directions and suggestions for site seeing; help with local transportation; and translation.
