The Safaris are run by Ant and Tessa Baber. Anthony was born and brought up in the Waterberg and has spent most of his life in the bush, his ancestors having settled here in the late 1800s, from English and Irish descent. Having hunted since his early years he has developed his own hunting and photographic safari company, to share his knowledge and skills of the wild.
Situated in the Waterberg, 300 km north of Johannesburg. Its beauty lies in its superb vistas, mountain gorges, clear streams and rolling bushveld hills, all rich in an enormous variety of game and plant life. Its dedication to game conservation, temperate climate, peaceful and safe atmosphere and being malaria free has made the Waterberg a superb hunting and holiday destination for the hunter, his family and friends.
We offer our guests a completely personal experience, with maximum flexibility, and total exclusivity given to each hunting party by our close knit team. You may tailor make your own safari to include any of the following; hunting on foot or horseback, wing-shooting and photographic safaris.
This is a unique hunting outfitter in that it not only offers excellent trophy hunting on foot but also. Offers superb horseback hunting both with rifle and bow. Allows you to combine some excellent wing-shooting to your safari.
Encourages you to bring non-hunters with you who may enjoy a wide variety of non-hunting activities while you hunt.
We has various excellent concession areas spanning over 50,000 hectares. The emphasis in the Waterberg area is on plains game hunting and bird shooting. Game includes kudu, Blue Wildebeest, Bushbuck, Bush pig, Black Back jackal, Eland Red Hartebeest, Waterbuck, Blesbuck, Zebra, Grey Duiker, Gemsbok (oryx), Impala, Steenbok, and Warthog.
The hunting season commences in April and continues through to September. We are able to hunt out of season, however, the climate is not as suitable.
Four-wheel drive hunting vehicles are used on the hunt. All hunting other than our horseback hunting safaris is done on foot.
