This villa is located along the Pacific Coast of Mexico between the coastal towns of Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo. Puerto Vallarta is famous for the filming of the Night of the Iguana and being the place where “Liz and Richard” fell in love. Most people remember Bo Derek in the movie “10” in the Las Hadas hotel in Manzanillo. The villa overlooks Chamela Bay and nine picturesque islands along the beautiful Costa Careyes of Mexico. This area was designated the "Mexican Riviera" by Antenor Patino (the Bolivian tin magnate) who developed Las Hadas and the Las Alamandas resort next door. Also along the coastline is the Bel Air Hotel and the estate of the late Sir James Goldsmith, "Villa La Loma."

The villa accomodations include ten guest rooms, eleven bathrooms, and staff residences. The main house is in the colonial style with expansive living and dining spaces. Employees of the villa will cater to your every need. These talented individuals include a fulltime gourmet chef and a cheerful staff. They will ensure your stay at the villa is comfortable, enjoyable and convenient.

Three meals are served daily and you can obtain snacks when desired or even raid the kitchen in the middle of the night. Regularly served are dishes of Latin cuisine, seafood dishes, all local tropical fruits and fresh vegetables. If desired, the chef will adjust the menu to accomodate your tastes. In addition, the staff will prepare any meal at the time you specify.

Breakfast - (el desayuno) usually includes eggs, Mexican style potatoes, fruit juice, milk, cereal and platters of fresh fruit. Tortillas, refried beans and fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, onions and avocados are served with the meal.

Lunch - (el almuerzo) is typically either chicken or seafood in Latin dishes such as enchilados, tostados, taquitos. Again, tortillas, refried beans and fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, onions and avocados, along with salsa mexicana and guacamole are served with the meal. A wide variety of beverages are provided.

Dinner - (la cena) will regularly include fresh fish (which is caught and purchased nearby daily), shrimp, chicken, and various Latin dishes. Meals include rice, vegetables, beans, tortillas, guacamole, salsa and wide choice of beverages (including wine with dinner). Desserts are delectable.
